Privacy

We are delighted about your interest in Axel Springer Ad Production. With this data protection declaration, we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the personal data processed by us and your rights as a data subject.

1. Responsible person

In accordance with Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR, the party responsible for data processing is Axel Springer Deutschland GmbH, Axel-Springer-Str. 65, 10888 Berlin, Telephone: +49 30 2591 0, Email: information@axelspringer.de (hereinafter referred to as „we“ or „us“), unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy.

We design internet pages from our website as Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP). If you call up one of these internet pages after a Google search on your smartphone, for example, this AMP may not be delivered by our servers, but directly from the cache of third parties such as Google. In these cases, our domain name (our internet address) will not appear in the address bar of your browser at the second-level domain level, but the domain name of Google or „ampproject.org“, for example. In the case of such calls from the Google cache or other third-party providers, we have no influence on the data processing by them.

2. Website call

If you use our services, various data will be automatically collected and processed by us:

• Information about the access device and the software used

Date and time of access

• Websites from which you arrived at our website or which you access via our website

IP address

The processing of the IP address, at least temporarily, is technically necessary to enable the website to be delivered. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Our servers also store your IP address for up to 14 days for our own security purposes (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Newsletters and Mailings

We also use your e-mail address sent to us in connection with the purchase of goods or services to inform you by e-mail about our own similar product offers, unless you have objected to this. In this case, your e-mail address is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in advertising our goods and services. So-called tracking pixels are integrated into the emails for the purpose and in our interest of optimising our newsletter. This provides us with information on which browser and operating system is being used, which IP address is currently being accessed and who the provider is. It is also recognised whether the email has been read and whether the link integrated in the email has subsequently been clicked on and the respective website visited via this IP address. In addition, the number of visits to the website is counted and the time of day when the email was retrieved and accessed is recorded. The approximate location of the user is also transmitted. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. You have the option to object to the sending of this information about further product offers at any time, e.g. by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided for this purpose in each of these emails.

So-called tracking pixels are integrated into the emails for the purpose of, and in our interest, optimising our newsletter. This provides us with information on which browser and operating system is being used, which IP address is currently accessing, and at the same time, who the provider is. Furthermore, it is recognised whether the email has been read and whether the link integrated into the email was subsequently clicked and the respective website was visited via this IP address. In addition, the number of accesses to the website is counted, and the corresponding time of day when the email was retrieved and access was made is recorded. The approximate location of the user is also transmitted. Should you not wish this, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time as described above. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Geo-localisation

For the purpose of displaying content with a regional focus relevant to your location, we process your IP address, generalised to the level of federal states/regions. From the geographical information obtained in this way, it is impossible to draw conclusions about your specific location. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Getting in touch

If you contact us, for example by email, by phone or during a customer conversation, the data you provide (e.g. your email address, possibly your name, your telephone number, etc.) will be processed by us in order to handle your enquiry and to contact you if necessary. We will delete the data arising in this context when it is no longer required for the aforementioned purpose, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your enquiry regarding our offers was directed to Media Impact GmbH & Co. KG, Axel-Springer-Str. 65, 10888 Berlin, Telephone: +49 30 2591 0, we have received your personal data transmitted in this context by Media Impact for the purpose of processing your enquiry. The same applies if you directed your enquiry regarding our offers to one of our sales representatives or brokers, or an agency for the purpose of forwarding it to us.

6. Data Transmission

Subject to any disclosures to the contrary in this privacy policy, we will only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you and this is apparent when you do business with or together with another provider, we are otherwise legally entitled or obliged to pass on data, or you have given us your consent.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

No cookies or similar technologies are used on this website.

8. Social Plugins

No social media plugins are integrated into this website that load data directly from the servers of the respective social media providers. The integrated „plugins“ are, in fact, simple links to the respective third-party sites, which we illustrate with corresponding graphics. Therefore, no personal data is transmitted to the operator of the social media service by the well-known plugins.

9. Storage duration

We only process personal data for as long as is necessary for the aforementioned purpose. The personal data will then be deleted, unless statutory retention periods prevent deletion.

Deletion, restriction and the right to be forgotten

You can request the deletion and restriction of your personal data. Where statutory retention periods conflict with the deletion of your personal data, your data will be marked with the aim of restricting its future processing.

Data portability

Where applicable, you also have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format, and to transmit this data to another responsible party, provided that the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out using automated procedures. However, this does not apply if the processing is necessary for the performance of a task which is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority which has been conferred on the responsible party. Furthermore, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on legitimate interests. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions. In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If we process personal data for direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data for such marketing purposes using the contact details provided above. This also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. Furthermore, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out by us for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes, unless such processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.
